Email Authentication Checker

These three records work together to protect your domain. Get them wrong, and legitimate emails can land in spam, or in rarer cases, someone else could send email that looks like it came from you.

How they work together:

  1. You send an email from your domain.
  2. The receiving server checks SPF to see if your sending server is authorized.
  3. The receiving server checks DKIM to verify the message hasn’t been altered and bears your cryptographic signature.
  4. DMARC evaluates the SPF and DKIM results, checks if the “From” header aligns, and applies your chosen policy (none, quarantine, or reject) to decide where the email ends up.
